DENVER (KDVR) — An 11-year-old boy accused of killing his 5-year-old brother in Centennial last week has been formally charged with first-degree murder.
The 11-year-old is charged with first-degree murder, a class one felony, along with an aggravated juvenile offender sentence enhancer, the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office announced in a post on Tuesday.

The 11-year-old, who has not been publicly identified due to his juvenile status, was identified as the suspect arrested on Wednesday, March 11. His 5-year-old brother was reportedly found dead inside a home in the 5200 block of South Jericho Way on Tuesday evening.
