SUV booted despite driver paying for parking, company admits error

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A Chandler woman’s car was booted after she paid for parking in Phoenix, and the incident went viral on TikTok before the parking enforcement company acknowledged the mistake.

Gabrielle Richard said she paid for parking before a night out but returned to find her SUV immobilized with a sticker on the vehicle.

“There’s a giant sticker on my driver’s side window saying the car has been immobilized,” Richard said. “And you need to text this number to pay, and it’s like $146.”

Calls went unanswered

Richard said she tried to reach someone for help but could not get through…
