ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The Irish Dance Academy of Anchorage is marking St. Patrick’s Day with performances around the community, giving students a chance to show off a discipline that demands strength, timing and practice.
‘A lot of hard work’
Student Zita Lindamood said she did not take to the dance form immediately.
“I did not like it because I was a very lazy girl and I did not like to move,” Lindamood said.
