Nassau man sentenced for robbing local restaurant owner

TROY, N.Y. (WNYT) – A Nassau man has been sentenced after stealing thousands of dollars from a local restaurant owner.

According to the Rensselaer County District Attorney’s Office, Patrick M. Walsh, 64, was sentenced for grand larceny on March 18.

The DA’s office says Walsh tricked the victim into paying for goods he never received by claiming either himself or a relative at a New York City dock could get the items at a steep discount…
