NaTesha Johnson elected as first African American woman chair on Kern County Fair Board

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Fair Board elected a new chair, calling it a “significant moment” in the organization’s 110-year history.

The 15th District Agricultural Association Board of Directors elected NaTesha “T” Johnson as Chair of the Board, the Kern County Fair and Event Center said in a press release. She is the first African American woman to serve in this position.
