LYNN — Dozens of Lynn firefighters, as well as Marblehead, Peabody, Salem, and Swampscott, responded to a three-alarm house fire on Wednesday at 29 Linden St.
Lynn Fire PIO Denis Ring told The Daily Item t hat six adults and one child were evacuated from the home prior to the Fire Department’s arrival. There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians. The Red Cross was called to assist with housing.
The fire was found all through the home, including the first, second, and third floors, and was in both the walls and the ceiling. The cause of the fire is actively being investigated by both the Lynn Fire Investigation Unit and the state troopers assigned to the State Fire Marshal’s office. Ring says a cause will not be determined today…
