Dayton man arrested for allegedly trafficking fentanyl, cocaine

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A 46-year-old Dayton man has been arrested and is facing federal charges for alleged narcotics trafficking. Officials seized eleven kilograms of suspected Fentanyl, suspected cocaine and $260k from a safe.

The man, Ke-Shawn Rivers, who goes by “JayZ,” was in federal court on Monday morning for a detention hearing. He is to remain in custody, pending trial.

Per his indictment, Rivers allegedly distributed fentanyl on multiple occasions between September 2025 and January 2026.

A search warrant was executed on Wednesday, March 11. Officials found and seized narcotics, a firearm and a safe. According to the officials, the safe contained approximately eleven kilograms of suspected Fentanyl, suspected cocaine, $260k in cash and an additional firearm…
