FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) โ The 69-year-old man, who the Fresno Police Department says walked into a medical office for an appointment and allegedly shot a woman who worked there, was in Fresno County Superior Court on Wednesday morning.
Bounab Thammavong was in the courtroom dressed in a red jumpsuit. His attorney requested that the case be delayed.
Thammavong did not enter a plea, and the judge granted the delay until April 1.
Police say Thammavong walked into the Family Health Care clinic Thursday morning, March 5, on Clinton and West Avenues in Fresno, was escorted to an exam room, and shot one of the employees multiple times in the upper body.
