CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A popular gym in Clovis has closed temporarily due to what management describes as “unforeseen circumstances.”
A notice on the door of the Planet Fitness at Clovis Avenue and Shaw Avenue was visible on Wednesday morning. The sign did not specify a reopening date, but did state that the location had closed temporarily “for the safety of our members.”
The Clovis Fire Department tells YourCentralValley.com that they responded to the location on Tuesday at around 6 p.m. following a report about structural issues at the gym. Crews responded and reported that a facade had peeled away from the building and the location was shut down.
