The San Leandro City Council voted unanimously to appoint Sarah Bunting as the new City Clerk after a detailed recruitment process. She was chosen by City Manager Janelle Cameron following her service as Acting City Clerk.
Ms. Bunting has over 15 years of experience in City Clerk offices in Berkeley, Livermore, and San Leandro. In her new role, she will manage legislative records, elections, and compliance with city laws. She is a Certified Municipal Clerk and a member of the California Municipal Clerks Association.
