Many music lovers in Huntsville know Janet Park’s friendly face sitting behind the counter of AB Stephens.
As the manager of the sheet music section, Parks has helped students, teachers and music lovers find the perfect songbook for several decades.
The 82-year-old has been a key member of the AB Stephens team since the early 1980’s. She helped them move from their original location on the parkway to the uniquely shaped brick building on Drake Ave. It was specifically designed to be a music store, complete with soundproof classrooms and spacious areas to display a wide variety of instruments.
