After a coach was diagnosed with terminal cancer, the local community organized a special ceremony so he could watch his 18-year-old daughter graduate from her high school in southern California.
“This was so meaningful for me, and it really showed me how emotional this journey has been for me,” Abbi Kerwin told CW affiliate KTLA after she received her high school diploma from her dad, Bill Kerwin, at an early graduation ceremony at a park in Huntington Beach on Monday, March 16.
She added, “I felt like I made a big step, knowing all my life after this that I got my diploma from my dad.”…
