LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is in the hospital after an assault happened in downtown Louisville overnight.
Louisville Metro Police said officers were called to the 400 block of East Market Street on a report of a fight in the area just before 2 a.m. Tuesday. Officers arrived to find a man on South Jackson Street with critical injuries he got from an assault.
LMPD said officers rendered aid until both EMS and Louisville Fire could arrive on scene; once they did, first responders transported him to the hospital with life-threatening injuries…
