HAMPTON, Va. — A Virginia man is recounting the terrifying moments he survived a missile strike on a hotel in Bahrain, saying the blast has left lasting physical and emotional effects weeks after the attack.
Derek Davis, a Hampton resident and U.S. Navy veteran, was in Bahrain for contract work with the U.S. military when missiles struck his hotel March 1.
