ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Two Henrietta businesses may be getting special use permits pending the Henrietta Town Board’s decision Wednesday night.
Raising Cane’s is looking to open the chain’s first location in upstate New York on Jefferson Road in Henrietta, Town Supervisor Steve Schultz said during a town board meeting. They hope to open in the Minotti Crossings Plaza between the Panera and Shake Shack.

Schultz said the restaurant SUP is fairly standard, but with some extra attention due to the potential of large crowds. Something similar happened when Chick-fil-A and Shake Shack opened to large crowds, but the problem was handled with proper planning, he says.
The other permit being voted on is for Millennium Games. The gaming store is seeking a non-standard restaurant SUP to add a concession-stand-style place offering food and drink, including alcohol, in their gaming rooms…
