WATERVILLE, Ohio (WTVG) – Thomas Parker has walked through the Columbian House’s big green door countless times over the last three decades. For more than 20 years, the landmark at the corner of North River and Farnsworth roads has been closed to the public. But on a blustery day recently, Parker invited 13 Action News Anchor, Sashem Brey, inside.
Born and raised in Toledo, Parker graduated from Rogers High School and pursued a career in general contracting. His deeper interest, he said, has always been history and antiques.
“I used to go to antique shops with my grandparents when I was 8 or 10 years old, and that love of history and antiques just continued on,” Parker said…
