Pender County Tax Office hosting property revaluation workshops in March

PENDER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – The Pender County Tax Office is holding two public workshops this month to answer questions about the 2026 countywide property revaluation.

The sessions will cover how property values are determined and how residents can appeal their assessed value:

  • The first workshop is scheduled for Monday, March 23, at 6 p.m. at the Maple Hill Community Center, 4840 NC Hwy 50, Maple Hill.
  • The second is set for Tuesday, March 24, at 6 p.m. at the Rocky Point Community Center, 17808 NC Hwy 210, Rocky Point.

Tax office staff will also be available at both sessions to assist residents with property tax exemption applications. Those who believe they may qualify are asked to bring a copy of their 2025 income.

Value change notices are expected to be mailed later this month, with some arriving as early as April…
