Lyndon Township Plans Road Work

The Lyndon Township Board approved its 2026 Road Work Agreement with Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) at its March 10 meeting.

The biggest cost project in the plan at $127,000 is work on Boyce Road from M-52 to the county line. The estimated amount expected to be paid by Lyndon under the agreement is $203,676 while the WCRC local matching funds will cover $111,324. The total estimated cost for all of the work is $315,000.

The Boyce (M-52 to county line) project will see work over 1.82 miles to include drainage improvements, shaping the existing surface and application of 5,600 tons of gravel with dust control and project restoration.
