A Central Texas family is still reeling after four of their loved ones were injured during a shooting in Port Aransas over the weekend.
Several members of the Drayton family remain in Coastal Bend hospitals, and now the family is asking for the public’s help as they rally to support their loved ones. To that end, the family, – which is largely from Copperas Cove, located about 70 miles north of Austin – has set up a GoFundMe to help pay for hotel and other expenses as they stay near the hospitals that are treating their family members.
“My stepson along with my niece and nephews were victims of a tragic shooting that has left them all hospitalized. Several of them remain in the ICU as doctors continue to care for them,” Stacy Ross wrote in the GoFundMe, describing how the Drayton family is going through “an unimaginable situation.”…
