On March 11, The Community Shop hosted its annual grant award presentations on March 11, marking its first ceremony since relocating in May 2024. Following the reopening of its retail store in June 2025, the organization awarded $69,801 in grants, funded by a portion of its 2025 net revenues.
The event, moderated by President Tess Sauthier, recognized four local recipients: Cat Tales Rescue ($11,000), Aransas County Animal Care Services ($12,300), The Well ($14,000), and the Rockport Volunteer Fire Department ($31,801). Representatives from each organization outlined how the funds will support their missions and services.
