MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa — A Mitchellville city council member has resigned.Konnor Trevallion posted his resignation on social media on Tuesday, saying he is leaving the position effective immediately.

As part of his statement, Trevallion stated, “Over time, my excitement for mending the issues that continued to accumulate has shifted into anxiety stemming from my lack of experience and constraints of time I can allocate to the given issues and time to research and respond to extremely important statements and concerns from citizens of our town. The tasks under my advisement are of the upmost [sic] importance to our city and deserve the upmost [sic] attention, attention I cannot reasonably provide.”
