A Tarrant County man is accused of posing as a licensed attorney to scam inmates held in the county jail and their families out of thousands of dollars, officials said.
Ramond Davis Jr., 60, was arrested and multiple charges are pending against him in the alleged scheme, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office.
Davis is accused of contacting people incarcerated at the jail and offering them legal services, then arranging to meet with the inmates’ families to collect payments of $3,000 in exchange for the services, the release states…
