March 18, 2026 // Franchising.com // WACO, Texas – Feng Cha has signed a five-unit area development agreement that will mark the brand’s official entry into Waco. The deal includes three locations in Waco and two additional units in Dallas-Fort Worth, with the first location expected to open late this year.
Leading the expansion is the Alkhatib family — Yasser Alkhatib and his sons Khalid and Beshr — a seasoned multi-unit franchise group with more than 25 years of hands-on restaurant experience. Khalid and Beshr, already active in the family’s restaurant portfolio, will serve as the primary executives overseeing day-to-day management and growth of Feng Cha.
