Hours-long effort in Tulsa ends with arrest of man who failed to appear on gun charge

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department arrested a man for failing to appear in court after officers worked for several hours to take him into custody on Wednesday afternoon.

On Feb. 13, officers responded to a crash near 47th and South Fulton Avenue. TPD said a pickup truck rolled backward through a fence while 43-year-old Earl Mooney was asleep in the driver’s seat.
