Boise County deputies aid lost hikers on Dry Creek Trail near Bogus Basin Road

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Two hikers who became lost on the Dry Creek Trail off Bogus Basin Road were rescued after being found miles from where they started and showing signs of dehydration and other medical issues.

Boise County Dispatch received a report of the hikers requesting assistance. After several hours, they were located multiple miles from their original starting point and were experiencing medical issues and showing signs of dehydration.

Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue was requested to help with the extraction. While additional resources were still being arranged, two Boise County deputies decided to hike into the area to provide immediate aid.
