Following Two ALPR Alerts, Deputies Locate a Stolen Vehicle, Detain Four Juveniles, Arrest the Driver, and Clear Two Missing Person-Runaway Reports

SPOKANE – On March 18, 2026, just before 1:00 am, a Spokane Regional Emergency Communications (SREC) Officer advised Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies of an Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) Alert regarding a reported stolen vehicle and a separate ALPR Alert of a reported Missing Person-Runaway who was associated with it.

The ALPR Alerts showed the reported stolen vehicle, a silver Nissan Frontier, was observed in the area of Five Mile Road in North Spokane. Deputies also learned the Spokane Police Department (SPD) had developed probable cause to charge the missing 17-year-old male juvenile with Taking a Motor Vehicle without Permission and Theft 3rd Degree on March 17, 2026.

Deputies saturated the area, and at approximately 1:45 am, they found the Nissan parked in a parking lot in the 3300 block of W. Indian Trail Road…
