A new Tacoma Eastside project will improve trail access, introduce play and fitness equipment, and bring more community gathering space in addition to Swan Creek Park and Pipeline Trail improvements on a sliver of land along East 56th Street, Parks Tacoma announced in a release this week.
The organization considers the project, which is surrounded by the Eastside Community Center, First Creek Middle School, and Swan Creek Park, to be one of a kind since it will result in a range of new-and-improved amenities as opposed to a park.
