The Better Business Bureau is seeing a sharp rise in the number of real estate complaints here in Hawai’i, at 111 percent in the past 12 months.

A lack of communication seems to be a point of poor customer service. As of right now, 69 percent of these complaints are reaching some sort of resolution.

More than half of these complaints, about 53 percent, point to poor customer service. When examining all the information, 100 percent of these complaints involve employee behavior in some way…
