Anchorage residents urged to share input on public transit plan

Anchorage’s public transit plan is now in its final phase of community input, and city officials are asking residents to share their priorities.

A new survey invites people to rank their top five transit projects, helping guide the city’s decisions for the next few years. The plan builds on past improvements, including restored and realigned bus routes, upgraded bus stops, and better rider communication.

Isabella Zamarron from People Mover told us, “If people don’t get their voices heard now, it will most likely not be a priority for us in the next 5 to 10 years. So that’s why it’s so important for people to really put in a good thought.”…
