Washtenaw County opting out of downtown Ann Arbor tax-capture expansion

ANN ARBOR, MI — As the Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority expands, Washtenaw County is opting out.

County commissioners voted 7-2 Wednesday night, March 18, to exempt county tax revenue from properties in the proposed expansion area from being captured and spent by the DDA.
