BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – City leaders say millions of taxpayer dollars are being spent each year to clean up abandoned and blighted properties across Birmingham.
Mayor Randall Woodfin announced plans Monday for a new state law aimed at holding property owners accountable and reducing those costs.
