A Dunkirk man was taken into custody on drug charges following a raid of an apartment in the city’s Fourth Ward early Wednesday afternoon. The Dunkirk Police Department and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office narcotics investigators executed a search warrant at the lower apartment of 209 Lincoln Avenue shortly after 12:15 PM. The Sheriff’s Office says 45-year-old Fernando Martinez, Jr. was seen leaving the residence before investigators arrived.
