HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — A Madison County judge has scheduled a preliminary hearing for April 8 in the murder case against a man charged in the fatal shooting of an Alabama A&M University freshman last month.
District Judge Tim Douthit granted a defense motion Wednesday and set the hearing for 1:30 p.m. in Courtroom 604 at the Madison County Courthouse.
