LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The parents of a 21-month-old boy who was found dead in his home in 2024 have been charged with murder and child abuse, Ingham County Prosecutor John J. Dewane announced Tuesday.
Probable cause documents obtained by 6 News indicates law enforcement and emergency medical services were called to the Aurelius Township home of Pierson Davis, currently 29, and Karloina Davis, currently 30, on the morning of Aug. 12, 2024.
They had been dispatched in response to a 911 call from Karloina claiming she had found her child face down in the crib, cold and no longer breathing.
Court documents note that Karloina referred to Vincent in the past tense during the call and when dispatchers advised her to start CPR, she said he was “beyond help.”…
