MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Less than a week after a woman was arrested in a fatal car accident in Frayser involving a six-year-old boy, all charges against her have been dropped.
Kenyunte W. Goss was charged with driving while license suspended, revoked, or cancelled and financial responsibility after hitting the little boy with her car at Signal Street and Whitney Avenue last Thursday.
Police say Goss was traveling westbound on Whitney Avenue when the front end of her Chrysler 200 struck the victim, who was located in the westbound lane of traffic on Whitney Avenue.
The child was playing basketball at the time. Surveillance video posted online showed the boy drop and then kick the ball in the street before he was hit. Goss remained at the scene.
