MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The family of a 14-year-old who was shot and killed March 13 says the past week has been a blur.
Kailon Price was gunned down on Kerr Avenue in South Memphis while riding his scooter.

The family told WREG they knew something was wrong when Kailon missed his curfew because it wasn’t like him to do that. As the minutes passed, their worry grew, but they never expected it would be the last time they’d see him alive.
