On Sunday, March 15, 2026, around 2:00 a.m., officers from the Sacramento Police Department responded to reports of a man down with a gunshot wound in the 1500 block of Waterwheel Drive. An adult male was found with at least one gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators processed the scene, collected evidence, and interviewed witnesses.
