ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – The city of Roanoke is seeing a jump in its homeless population. According to a Virginia Tech study, the city needs 4,000 more affordable housing units to fill gaps.
So the city has leaned in to the issue – creating a Hope and Home Task Force to better understand the challenges and solutions.
