The Legacy at Town Square in Amarillo’s celebration of St. Patrick’s Day on Tuesday evening was no blarney, hosting a pub crawl “fun raiser” for their residents and friends. It started out to be a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s organization, but as it turned out, a high school team was having one for the charity already, and they chose not to compete.
But there was a pot of gold for residents-turned-leprechauns for a night, who ventured out in favorite Irish gear to sample treats and drinks, some adult, some just fun, with an Irish twist.
