AUSTIN, Texas — Allegations that prosecutors hid evidence in the felony case against an Austin police officer have sparked new calls for Travis County District Attorney Jose Garza to resign, as the officer’s attorney pushes to have the case thrown out ahead of a trial the DA’s office says is still set for June.
