LUBBOCK, Texas–After 17 years as the Lubbock High School principal, Doug Young has retired. Young worked at LHS for 22 years and in education for 40 years.
Young shared, as he walked the halls for what could be one of the final times, that it was the students who made him come back year after year. Something he especially noticed was the lack of students due to spring break.
