Gov. Landry visits Rayne for groundbreaking on road improvement project

RAYNE, La. (NEWS 15) — Louisiana is taking action to improve its roads and bridges, including a key project in Acadia Parish.

Gov. Jeff Landry and local leaders broke ground on a new project aimed at resurfacing and widening Riceland Road in Rayne. The initiative is part of a larger effort to address five roads and 62 small bridges that are in poor condition throughout the state.

The governor noted that the state is committed to enhancing the daily commute for drivers. The project is expected to be completed within the next 15 months…
