A Will County man was arrested for threatening Governor JB Pritzker. The Illinois State Police said Timothy Shemitis, 71, of Frankfort is facing charges of threatening a public official, a class three felony and a misdemeanor charge of harassment by telephone.
Police officials said they were notified of the numerous voicemail threats the Governor’s Office received from Shemitis on March 3rd.
