OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A landlord is assessing the damage to his home one day after police removed a woman he said had been squatting there for months.
Connor Lund said the three-story home near 39th and Cass Street took him years to fix up. Now, he said, he faces doing that work again.
“She put her tag on this house in her own way to try to create what looked like residency,” Lund said.
Damage found throughout the home
Every room in the home sustained damage. Lund said the basement level was the worst.
“There was dogs living down here. Just a complete mess,” he said.
