Police arrest man accused of stabbing person who bumped into him in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police have arrested a man after a stabbing in Northwest on Tuesday, police said.

Just before 5 p.m. on March 17, a victim was walking in the 900 block of G Street, Northwest, when he bumped into the suspect, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The victim and the suspect then engaged in a verbal fight before the suspect reportedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim, police said. The suspect then grabbed the victim’s phone from where it had fallen on the ground and fled.
