Rescheduled ramp work prompts weekend I-84 closures between Garrity, Ten Mile

NAMPA, Idaho — Weekend closures on I-84 between Garrity (Exit 38) and Ten Mile (Exit 42) interchanges have been rescheduled after high winds postponed work earlier this month, according to the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD). Crews plan to set girders this weekend for the Treasure Valley’s first tri-level flyover ramp at the future I-84 and State Highway 16 interchange.

Eastbound I-84 will be closed Friday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic will be detoured to Franklin Road during that time.

From Saturday through early Monday, eastbound I-84 will remain closed as crews continue setting girders. Traffic will exit and re-enter the freeway using the new ramps from 6 a.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Monday. Westbound I-84 will be reduced to two lanes during the same period…
