Three indicted in deadly Bronx shooting as police boost nightlife patrols

The New York Police Department’s 50th Precinct has assigned extra patrol officers to monitor nightlife near West 242nd Street and Broadway in response to the fatal shooting of 44-year-old Keon Gill in January.

Naya Brown, a 26-year-old project manager for the Department of Education, Pernell Warren, a 34-year-old from Bedford Park, and Daniel Ligon were indicted in connection to the shooting, which killed Gill and hospitalized his 35-year-old brother.

Brown and Warren are being held in Riker’s Island, according to the Department of Correction. Ligon is still at large, according to the Bronx District Attorney’s Office. No additional information has been released about Ligon…
