EPA, Chattanooga officials differ on lead cleanup status at East Lake Park

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — We have new details from the EPA as we continue to ask health and safety questions surrounding a lead cleanup project in Chattanooga’s Southside.

This come after we asked about lead found in the soil at public places like parks, schools, and churches.

A map released by the EPA shows several major parks within the agency’s cleanup boundary.
