The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office said it identified the body of a deceased individual found near Snow Camp.
The body, found on Wednesday, Mar. 18, is that of 39-year-old William Calice Cooper III of Alamance County. He was found by a resident doing agricultural work on a field near Moon Lindley Road.
As of writing, the sheriff’s office said the death does not appear to be suspicious in nature and there are no signs of foul play. However, a cause of death has yet to be determined, and the office is working with the North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to find out what happened…
