ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) reports charging a man with attempted murder after a head-on crash lead to an officer-involved shooting in 2025.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop to try and serve an arrest warrant on Brian Joseph Stoltie on Mar. 26, 2025, on Brookhaven Drive. He had removed his ankle monitor while out on bond for attempted murder in Greenville County, deputies said.
Arrest warrants said Stoltie, while fleeing in a 2004 Cadillac Escalade, hit a deputy’s vehicle head-on before colliding into a fence, disabling the Cadillac…
